Woops!

Well I ended up sleeping till nearly midday, which kind of ruined my plans to measure and weigh in - by the time I got up, I barely had time to eat before heading down there to avoid 'rush hour'. But, it's not all bad news.

I attempted my deadlift as the first order of the day, and although I'm assuming the bar was 10kg, I will need to check. I managed 150kg in the end, for a single left and did 3 sets of 3 reps on 100kg after that, and followed up with some more weights - I was in there for just over an hour, and my heart rate stayed above 100 the whole time; often reaching 120, 130 even. I seem to have retained most of my strength if not the endurance I had before my break, so that's very good news. It was a good workout, and I'm looking forward to the rest this week.

I've also dropped my calorie intake pre-exercise down from 1990 to 1790 and I'll see how I feel this week, coping on that little bit less. I'll be weighing on Wednesday now, as that'll be a week since my last weigh in and I'm considering getting hold of P90X or something similar to workout at home when I can't make it to the gym.
